Tangy and fragrant salad dressing makes this salad so refresing and delicious! With the addition of crispy apples,
Throw in some mint leaves for the extra refreshing taste!
The ingredient that gives this dressing it's fragrant smell is wild ginger flower (bunga kantan)
The recipe is very simple, just add whatever salad you have in hand, cut up a nice juicy and crispy apple into cubes and fry some bite size chicken to add to the salad and you are good to go:)
Here is what you need:-
1/4 of wild ginger flower, sliced thinly
a knob of ginger, minced or sliced thinly
2 pcs of shallot, minced
1/2 cup corn oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp fish sauce
1 pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of honey
a dash of pepper
Mix all ingredients together and pour over prepared salad. Alternatively, you can prepare salad in a large bowl, then pour in dressing to toss before plating. My choice of greens were butterhead lettuce, chinese lettuce and mint leaves.
Lastly, add the chicken bites and enjoy!
