One weekend in Bangkok

Went to Bangkok with the boys over the weekend for a short break...below are some of the photos that I took using my Iphone 4
The lobby of the boutique hotel we stayed in

Comfortable king size bed in the room..very new and clean

Writing desk in a corner...unfortunately no view from the window though

Door leading to the toilet, very old fashion and lovely

Nice pictures adorning the wall and beautiful fake orchids on the desk

and in the bathroom too

Tables and chairs for relaxing and people watching outside the entrance

Had our first street food for lunch, a bowl of thai noodles with daikon, pork slices and fish balls, quite delicious and cheap too

For dinner we had the signature tomyam, and oysters fried with eggs

Green curry chicken, tasty although a bit too diluted

The entrance to the hotel, pretty huh!

A view from the breakfast room upstairs

This tomyam prawns was delicious and you can tell it's pretty hot too!

Fried fish (can't remember what type) and topped with lots of mango salad, cashew nuts, dried shrimps and sweet sour plum sauce, delicious! Lots of onions and lemon grass too!

The pool on the 9th floor is pretty small but quite a sight to behold!
The weekend came to an end much too soon! sigh!
