Another weekend has passed!

Where has time flown to? It seems like yesterday that I have posted a weekend meal, and now another one is almost over! Let's hope I don't look as old as I feel! Anyway, this is another showcase of what we had over for our meals over the weekend...

Started the day with a hearty meal of Pumpkin Spiced Bagel...spread with garliccheese and peanut butter and a hot cup of coffee...aaaahh! smells heavenly!

Next comes Mussels, top with caramelized chopped onions, cream, mozarella cheese and breadcrumbs and then baked till golden..perfect!

Finally...Cereal Prawns, first fry the prawns on high heat for a minute, then saute garlic, bird's eyes chilli and curry leaves till fragrant and finally toss in the cereal and prawns. Dish up and serve immediately with white fluffy rice! Simply irresistible!

  1. That's some combination on the mussels, and I can taste the prawns just by looking at them. I'm on a diet, and so I'll have to pass on the bagel, though.

  24. You had a feast. Pumpkin spiced muffins are such a warming way to start the day. I've never baked mussels. Why not? (I now ask). And the prawns make me reach for them. Sigh. Another weekend - but a very nice one.

  25. Hi Jeannie, I am really interested in trying out the brioche that you made. I actually have not tasted brioche before. Neither have I tasted it. Maybe it is my next baking project? :)

Have a good weekend. Continue to feel 'young' yea? *wink*
