Weekend Meals

This Sweet Potato Challah is so soft and fluffy. I add 200 g of mashed purple sweet potatoes into the dough. Love the colour it gives to the bread.

A cross section of the challah,  sweet enough to eat on its own with a cup of coffee for breakfast.

Orange sauce chilli Chicken...I know you can't see the orange but it's there alright, delicious! Sweet and savory and spicy all at the same time:D

Fried rice with sausages, minced pork, string beans and carrots for lazy afternoon.

Honey Mustard baked chicken, this dish was prepared by Fu Yi, a tad too dry I think, needs some sauce over it.

  2. I love the colour of the bread! Yum, it reminds me a little bit of the purple sweet potato pie (with coconut pudding) that I ate the last time I went home to Hawaii. What a great ingredient! :) And these other picturs are making me so hungry!

  3. Beautiful challah, I made it once with purple sweet potato and the purple color wasn't as good as yours. I shall try it again.
