Baking 50 cupcakes...

...for my youngest son to bring to his school's function. As I do not have any cupcake boxes, I'd decided not to ice the cupcakes. I baked 2 flavors, chocolate and coconut milk pandan with coconut jam filling....I ate the one that I cut for photo taking and it was delicious!
These are with some macadamia nuts on the top

Left these batch plain..
These were good! Soft and fluffy and smelled awesome!

Since I have some left over kaya, I made these flaky pastry with kaya filling
Also bake some buns to make burgers for dinner later.
Using the same batch of dough, I made cinnamon rolls...yummy!
And this was dinner for the boy... he had 2 of these!

  1. Jeannie...thankfully, you have the excuse that you need to take a photo LOL. I use that one too.
I'm sure that a little less icing on those cupcakes was a good idea...less sugar on already very over active children...easier on the parents later on.

    You're such a good Mommy ;o)

    Have a great weekend,
    Claudia

  5. Everything looks delicious! You are such a great baker. I usually don't bake things with icing...just because my cake decorating looks so terrible.
