Sunday bakes

It's cloudy here today... perfect for an aerobics class in the park. Do not have to fight for shed under the tree! New instructor today so find the class quite enjoyable....a break from the usual routine moves by the previous instructor. Since it's a cold day (it rained in the afternoon), and everyone is feeling lazy,  lunch was a simple meal of  saute mushroom, onions and sausages sandwich.  The boys suggested to make some curry puffs for dinner instead of cooking up a meal.  Instead of frying the puffs I baked them. Turned out quite crispy and best of all, not oily!

  1. What a healthy way! Maybe next round you could try baking with readymade puff pastry. Have a nice day, Jeannie!

  4. @Kristy...I can try that if I can find puff pastry. Been searching in the frozen sections of supermarts so far no luck.
    @Bob...only if you have the time, these took up quite a lot of time to prepare.
    @Juliana....thanks:D

  13. I love curry puffs but would love that for tea time. I always bake them too. I don't like deep frying cos it just gets oily all over. I'm bad in housework :P

  14. @Cheah...sometimes some of the puffs leaks into the oil and thus getting more oil into the puffs which makes the puffs really oily, baking is the better option even though frying them taste nicer. Oh well, we can't have it both ways!

    @Mary....My sentiments too, really! I don't like the washing up part!
