Tried baking these on the new oven too...The cakes don't rise into a dome. Could be due to the reduced heat. The mannual said to reduce heat by 20%. Do not ask me why, I was just following instructions lol! Still, the results are quite satisfactory.
Not as brown as my previous chocolate cupcakes attempt, but taste good and smelt nice.
Here's the recipe:-
110g self raising flour
90g caster sugar or brown sugar
90g cooking chocolate melted
25g almond powder
vanilla essence is optional
Beat butter and sugar till creamy and fluffy
Add eggs, one at a time
Then add chocolate following by milk
Fold in flour and almond powder
Scoup into cupcakes/muffin cups and bake @ 180C for 25 mins.
Alternatively, you can bake in a 9 inch baking tin for 45-50 mins, or until the skewer comes out clean when inserted.
